Membership Code of Conduct
The Boulder Mountain Bike Club (“Boulder MTB Club”) is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive community for all riders. Our mission is to create opportunities for students to ride, connect, and grow together, while representing CU Boulder with integrity.
In order to maintain this purpose, the following Code of Conduct establishes the expectations for all members.
Violations of this Code should be reported to any member of the executive board or to CU Boulder Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution.
University Policies
All members of Boulder MTB Club are subject to CU Boulder’s Student Code of Conduct and the university’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. By joining the club, members agree to uphold these policies in full.

Hazing is strictly prohibited. Hazing includes any action or situation, on or off campus, that:
a. Endangers the mental or physical health or safety of another person as a condition of membership;
b. Interferes with academic responsibilities; or
c. Intentionally causes embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule, regardless of consent.
Boulder MTB Club does not and will not tolerate hazing.
Anti-Discrimination
Discriminatory conduct is not tolerated. This includes:
-
Any offensive behavior directed at a person or group based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other class protected by law.
-
Threats, harassment, or coercion that create a hostile environment or interfere with another’s ability to learn, work, or participate in the club.
Boulder MTB Club is committed to an inclusive environment for all members.
Anti-Sexual Misconduct
Sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment, nonconsensual contact, dating violence, stalking, and retaliation, is prohibited and will not be tolerated. Allegations will be addressed under CU Boulder’s Sexual Misconduct Policy.

-
Conduct themselves with integrity and respect at all club rides, events, and gatherings.
-
Demonstrate good sportsmanship and represent the club, CU Boulder, and the mountain biking community positively.
